One way that I’ve found to know if someone is good for me in my life is to observe the place that my actions are coming from, and how I’m showing up in the relationship. My past friendships and relationships were coming from a place of me being focused only on the circumstances and what I can “get”, coming from my ego, but when I expanded my awareness and focused on my energy and how I feel first and foremost, my relationships started to become a lot better as well. My previous relationship (they’ve all been not quite right) was definitely one that I knew from the beginning wasn’t right but wouldn’t change it. I moved counties with him and now, single again, I stayed here in a new life which I wouldn’t have had otherwise.
The relationship was difficult to say the least, but it taught me so much about myself and gave me the push to make the changes.

I’ve helped so many people face their fears and learn to communicate in a way that turns a relationship from detriment to thriving. The key is both sides must be accountable to the triggers and traumas that only soulmates can reflect. The key is that both parties want to grow and no one is pushing. Both must value that process and it should be counter balanced by a lot of joy and connection. If it’s all work, all trauma it’s a signal. If it’s confusing, it isn’t yours. I find it interesting that men often spiritually hold this idea it should flow and be easy. They wouldn’t approach business this way. It requires commitment and work and at times sacrifice for the greater goal. It’s the same with love. It’s sacred. It should not be treated as survival and the second you respond in that desperate way, then it’s going to go south. You can’t teach or push your lover. I like a lot of master sri’s stuff however this one causes people to buy into the fantasy of perfection where as people we have flaws. We are in a society of cut and run, swipe left onto the next. I notice he isn’t married either. Just my view. I feel this idea makes people get spooked and run. The key is can your partner communicate and do they have the same core values as you. Values rarely change. You can be close to anyone that shares your values. If you value family time and date nights and he values money more, then fights will always ensue. They don’t have to think like you, but the core values need to be similar. Don’t give up on love because you actually may just be approaching it wrong. I do agree however that if something feels off, it almost always is. If something feels like a maybe, it is often a no. If something feels like it has to happen for you to be happy, it’s most likely just a test and not your life partner. If someone confuses you, it’s probably because they know it’s a no. Don’t demand someone know your worth. Just notice their actions and make decisions accordingly. If they’re too incompatible to you, it may be true or that you both need new communication. Both must desire to grow.
I recently got into a relationship where some aspects made me feel uneasy and I slipped into the adjustment mode, trying to convince myself that I could like them, but my gut was actually feeling queasy. Everything was telling me to get away and end it. And I just did.
