Dopamine is naturally produced by the body as a chemical messenger, and it affects many behavioral and physical functions, including: learning, motivation, sleep, mood and attention. It can be positive and give you motivation, or negative if you have an excess or deficiency which can cause mental health issues (ex. too much time on social media, junk food addictions). By understanding and being aware of dopamine you can take back control of your life!

    1. Are your parents millionaires? Becoming a millionaire is definitely possible but no billionaire got there without either being born into money or getting lucky with the right investments during the era of strong social programs between the 50’s-80’s.

  3. Despite the title, the key isn’t a full detox of dopamine. In fact you can’t fully detox yourself from dopamine, it’s a naturally occurring part of you. That said, by avoiding certain behaviors, such as spending endless hours scrolling on your phone and social media sites, you may be able to achieve a greater state of mindfulness and prevent mental health issues. Some of the benefits of mindfulness are stress relief, lower blood pressure, and improved sleep. For those struggling with phone addiction, meditation can be a great way to achieve a state of mindfulness.

  4. To the *incredible person* seeing this, I wish you all the best in life❤ don’t over blame yourself, accept things and go forward. Don’t let others define what “success” is for you. Get up, learn the skills needed and get after it, all the keys to a happy life is in your hands. Keep pushing.

  5. The reason I lose motivation is because I’m cursed. I haven’t had a good day in 15 years. It’s just bad after bad after bad, luck. Everyone has ups and downs but for me it’s always been down. I try to stay as positive as possible, I’m just tired.
